Belize made the case for sustainability — and then proved it | STC 2026

Belize Minister of Tourism Anthony Mahler extended a personal invitation to the global tourism community at the CTO Air Connectivity Summit in Bermuda — ahead of hosting the Caribbean Tourism Organization's Sustainable Tourism Conference 2026 in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye (April 27–30).

From the second-largest barrier reef in the world to ancient Maya pyramids, 250+ offshore islands and a rainforest rivaling the Amazon, Belize showcased why it embodies the conference theme: Tourism in Full Color — Integrating Blue, Green, Orange and Beyond Economies into Sustainable Planning.
